Privacy Policy
Last Updated & Effective Date: July 18, 2026
ECHM Tech ("we", "our", or "us") is deeply committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency in how we handle your data. This comprehensive Privacy Policy governs the data collection, processing, and usage practices for all mobile applications, tools, and digital services (collectively referred to as the "Apps") developed and published by ECHM Tech on the Google Play Store and other platforms.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using any of our Apps, you signify your explicit consent to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our Apps.
1. Scope of This Universal Policy
This master Privacy Policy is designed to comply with Google Play Developer Program Policies, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). It applies broadly to our entire portfolio of Apps, which spans multiple categories including, but not limited to:
- Tools, Utilities & Productivity (e.g., QR Scanners, PDF Readers, VPNs, File Managers)
- Photography & Video Editors (e.g., Camera Apps, Gallery tools, Video Converters)
- Smart Home & Lifestyle (e.g., Smart Video Doorbells, Security Cameras, Prayer Times)
- Maps, Navigation & Travel (e.g., GPS tools, Speedometers, Local Guides)
- Shopping, Finance & Business (e.g., E-commerce Stores, Expense Managers)
- Music, Audio & Entertainment (e.g., Voice Recorders, Media Players)
- Education & Books
2. Types of Information We Collect
We strictly adhere to the principle of Data Minimization. We only request permissions and collect data that is absolutely necessary for the core functionality of the App you are using or for delivering relevant advertisements.
A. Personal Identifiable Information (PII)
We do not automatically collect PII. We only collect PII when you voluntarily provide it to us (e.g., when creating an account, making an in-app purchase, or contacting customer support). This may include:
- Name, Email Address, and Phone Number.
- Account credentials and profile information.
- Billing information (processed securely through Google Play Billing).
B. Non-Personal & Device Information
When you access our Apps, we and our third-party partners (like Google AdMob and Firebase) may automatically collect certain anonymous device information, including:
- Device Identifiers: Google Advertising ID, Android ID, Device Model, Manufacturer, OS Version, and Screen Resolution.
- Usage Data: App launch frequency, session duration, feature usage, and interaction logs.
- Diagnostic Data: Crash reports, stack traces, and performance metrics (via Firebase Crashlytics) to help us fix bugs and improve app stability.
C. App-Specific Permissions and Data
Depending on the specific App you download, we may request explicit runtime permissions. The data accessed through these permissions is processed as follows:
- Camera & Microphone: For photography, recording, or smart home apps (e.g., Video Doorbells). We access the camera/mic solely to capture media at your direct request. We do NOT secretly record, store, or upload your personal photos, videos, or audio to our servers. Media is processed locally on your device unless you explicitly utilize a cloud-backup feature.
- Storage (Files & Media): For PDF readers, gallery apps, or document scanners. We request read/write access to save or modify files on your device. We do not access files unrelated to the App's function.
- Location Data (GPS): For Maps, Navigation, or Weather apps. We may collect coarse or precise location data to provide local services. Location data is only accessed when the app is in use, unless background permission is explicitly granted and required for core functionality.
- VPN & Network Data: For VPN or proxy apps. We route your internet traffic through secure servers. We maintain a strict No-Logs Policy. We do not monitor, record, or store your browsing history, DNS queries, or data payload.
3. Advertising and Monetization
Our Apps are primarily offered for free. To support our development costs, we display advertisements provided by third-party ad networks, primarily Google AdMob. We do not use Banner Ads in specific premium apps, but we do utilize Interstitial, Native, App Open, and Rewarded Video Ads across our portfolio.
- Personalized Advertising: Ad networks may collect and use your device's Advertising ID and IP address to serve targeted, personalized ads based on your interests and behavior across different apps and websites.
- Opting Out: You have the right to opt out of personalized advertising at any time. You can do this by navigating to your Android device settings: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization (or "Delete advertising ID").
- If you opt out, you will still see ads in our Apps, but they will be generic and not tailored to your interests.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We integrate certified, industry-standard third-party SDKs to operate, secure, and monetize our Apps. These third parties act as data processors and have their own strict Privacy Policies. We strongly encourage you to review them:
- Google Play Services: Privacy Policy
- Google AdMob (Advertising): Privacy Policy
- Google Firebase (Analytics & Database): Privacy Policy
- Firebase Crashlytics (Crash Reporting): Privacy Policy
5. Data Security, Retention, and Deletion
A. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data transmitted between our Apps and backend services (like Firebase) is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/SSL.
B. Data Retention
We retain your Personal Information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law. Anonymous usage and diagnostic data may be retained for analytical purposes to improve future versions of our Apps.
C. User Data Deletion Rights (Google Play Data Safety)
In strict compliance with Google Play's Data Safety requirements, you have the absolute right to request the deletion of any personal data we have collected about you. To request data deletion, account termination, or to revoke previously granted consent, please email us directly at zamanzaryab36@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We will process your request within 14 business days.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Our Apps are intended for general audiences and are not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under the age of 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
7. GDPR and CCPA Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you are granted specific rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access: You can request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Right to Rectification: You can request corrections to inaccurate data.
- Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You can request the deletion of your data.
- Right to Restrict Processing: You can ask us to temporarily halt the processing of your data.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: Under the CCPA, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" of your personal information (Note: We do not sell your personal data to third parties, but targeted advertising may be classified as a "sale" under certain CCPA definitions).
8. Changes and Updates to this Privacy Policy
ECHM Tech reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our app features, legal requirements, or advertising practices. When we update the policy, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our Apps after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
10. International Data Transfers
We operate globally. Your information, including personal data, may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By explicitly consenting to this Privacy Policy and using our Apps, you consent to the transfer of your data to these global facilities (such as Google Firebase servers typically located in the United States).
